Room 15 News

End of term

Hi everyone,
Can’t believe we’ve made it to the last week of school. The kids are certainly looking forward to holidays!

Today in Nature play we enjoyed beautiful weather, making cubbies, drawing with charcoal and general exploration.

On Wednesday we have our Japanese day. The children will rotate to different classes to participate in Japanese activities. Children are welcome to wear japanese inspired clothing on the day.

We will be spending this week learning about half past on the clock. You can help your kids by practicing reading analogue and digital times.

I will be away this Thursday, Karen Hedger will be in.

Friday will be a casual day, no gold coin donation required. Reminder that dismissal is at 2:10.

Cheers
Gabby & Suzy

Sports Day info

Hi everyone,
Sports Day is tomorrow and the children are very excited. Tomorrow in the morning, children are to come straight to the classroom, and we will head out about 9:15. Children will need to bring their drink bottle, recess and lunch named. Please be sun smart and apply sunscreen to your child in the morning. Hats will be worn all day.
After lunch, relief teacher Ann will be taking over from me so I can go and be a mum and attend my daughters sports day.
At the end of the day, you will need to collect your children from Ann, in the classroom.
Hope to see many of you there,
Gabby

News from Room15

Hi everyone,
Just a friendly reminder that we are hosting the assembly this week at 11:15 pm.
Last week you would have received a note to book a time for learning conferences next week. This will be an opportunity for your child to share their learning with you. Thanks to all who have already made a time.
Maths – This week we will start learning about time, particularly o’clock and half past. We will be learning how to read it both in analogue and digital time.
Lastly, for those who have not yet connected to Seesaw are missing the opportunity to see the great work your children have been doing in class. This will be the main source of communication that we will be using to share learning and news about the class. If you are having trouble connecting or are unsure of what to do, please don’t hesitate to see me.
Kind regards
Gabby & Suzy
